Didnt get into the big fish but the action was good. We caught too many to count but only kept about a 100 between 2 guys. Fished by Snake and caught ALOT of dinks but had a good time. Then we went over between Georigina and Thorah island and managed to get some bigger fish but not jumbos. One or two were 10 inches or so. Snake island had at least 20" of ice with trucks on it. I couldn't get accross the pressure crack to fish where i usually get the bigger fish. Over by Georigina and Thorah there was 2 ft of ice there with a pressure crack that was crossable by shore and several trucks out there too. It's really going to turn on up there in the next couple of weeks. I bet Cooks bay is pushing 30 inches of ice but i didnt fish over there. I used my three wheeler to get around with no problems at all.

I was up on Lake Simcoe on Friday in Cooks Bay, Lots of ice - 22". A couple of trucks were driving all over. Caught lots of perch but only kept 25. 1 - 13 inches the rest 9-10 inches. Moved around quite a bit but couldn't find any jumbos. Talked to a couple of guys who said the same.
