So hows everyone doing this season?

Curious to see how everyone's hunting seasons going. I got a 7 point opening day and birdog got a 8 point the second day. Our camp is off to a great start all together have 5 bucks on the pole. Good luck to all off to try to get the monster running by my stand :) tomorrow. Born

Good going, Born & Birddog, & Trout + everyone else who's scored. I'm kicking myself. Opening day I saw 2 does and 2 spikes. Thursday, sat all day. Didn't see anything, so with 10 minutes left of shooting time, I had my gun leaning on the wall of my blind, window shut (it was cold). Wouldn't you know it - a big head with antlers peeked out of the brush! I grabbed the gun, threw open the window, just in time to see his tail clear my shooting lane. UGH! Well, I'm still out there hoping he'll come back. Every time I hear a shot, I wonder if he's history. Oh well....

Nice going Born, hope you get the monster too. My season was one of the most memorable in years. We took four deer at my camp. My son's first in the youth season (5 point), my 6 point with a bow, my 7 point with the rifle, and a friend of mine took his first deer ever (spike). My dad had a chance but spooked a "nice rack" before he could get a shot. <----<<<

My loving husband finally convinced me to try hunting this year. I went out the first morning of shotgun season and saw a couple of huge bucks, but I did not get a shot at either one. I went out that evening and shot a nice 5 point buck. I killed him in one clean shot through both lungs. I was so excited. Went out the following evening and shot a big button buck. I am pleased with my first attempts at hunting, and look forward to my future hunts.
