I've decided to buy a Mathews DXT. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions where to go for the best price and best service around the Tri City area.

Thanks

I bought my Switchback at Van's Archery in Whitmore Lake.

They were by far cheaper than anyone around.

And another thing that impressed me about the place is that when I went back in there 3 months later I noticed that the they had dropped there price on the Switchbacks by $30.00. Kidding around with them about me paying $30 more for the Bow in January they gave me $30.00 cash on the spot.

Also there staff is excellent.

KD Outdoors....wide selection of bows....knowledgeable staff...good advice...you get the final decision w/o having to buy something the store is pushing. Ask for KEN

The Poster Asked where to buy a Mathews .....not a pse or a bowtech or high country or darton for that matter he asked for a mathews so as i see it on this board that kd outdoors seem to be a place to check into for i have seen nothing but good things said about them.

that's all i have to say about that.....:D

KD Outdoors has always done an excellent job. If you can just look past the guys that work there!:D:D Just Kidding, I drive 45 min. to deal with them when I have a dealer 2 miles away. Top Notch all the way.

I don't know about $$ but Bay Archery has always done a good job for my friends and I

I also would be willing to go to Bares in St Charles , I know quite a few guys who shop there

I agree Bay Archery is a nice shop. The only problem I have with them is they're so dog gone expensive. I've had 2 bows there now and any time I have had trouble, or want it checked and tuned, it's in my mind cost quite a bit. BUT they're in business to make money not to give stuff away. I've called the stores in the reply's. Everyone clames they'll stand behind what they sell and will set me up, all included in the price. I'll way the costs and pick one up this weekend from one of the shops. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions.

There is no cost for labor when the bow is purchased at Bay Archery, or for any warranty work preformed on a bow purchased there, Yes we do charge for a pre season tune, or labor for string, cable, peep, rest, etc installation on the bow from that point out, but seriously any shop should be charging for that any ways since its not covered by any warranty and is time and material consuming. But when you buy a new bow all accessories and set up are done at no cost.

As for labor and set up charges for equipment not purchased at our store or any store for that matter, such as INTERNET or garage sale just to save $50 or $100 ;) honestly you cannot complain about the cost since you maybe should have bought it from them in the first place cuz most shops don't show sympathy in labor price discounts in those cases :D

I also purchased an XT at Vans. I left the place very satisfied. The new bows are unreal. When I left (same day) I was hitting x's and arrows. I practiced for years with my old bow for the same performance. Now I need to get out and shoot. -Justify the money!!!
