Now that deer season is over what do you do for the rest of the winter?
I live in the Up so I have lots I do al winter long. I like to snowshoe (good exercise), rabbit hunt, ice fish for walleys on Lake Gogebic, and snowmobile. The lil guys love to ski. What I don't like (hehe) is shoveling all the snow we get here but now that the hubby has a plow for the 4 wheeeler that is even fun. Don't tell bird tho or he'll have out there everyday, lol. Born,
My wife was never the serious hunter but enjoyed it when ever I would allow her to accoumpany me. (Please don't be affended by the word allow and read on) After a while I relized having her with me, learning about the outdoors, was a treasure to me. I thought this was a unique situtation. More and more, because of this forum, I heard about women getting involved in blood sports. I now realize that it is becoming an active sport for more and more women.
I have always been the type of person that tell's people my best hunting and fishing locations just to see them enjoy them selfs as much as I did. After reading this forum for a while now I have learned that there are a lot of people that feel the same.
Born, I consider you one of them.
Its been a pleasure to have you moderate this page. It is a place that more and more women can talk to women about things about hunting that women talk about. (Like the type of underware you where when in the woods)
Seriously, I have never meet any of you personally but have found out that women enjoying themselfs in these type of sports is not a bad thing at all.
Thanks for the time you put into this site and have a blessed holiday season.

Not quite over, late antlerless starts Saturday. I was out scouting today to see what trails are being used with all this deep snow.
