tried to get out on the ice today around 5:00 pm. at the beach
the shore line is all broken up.:sad:
there is ice there, but i wouldnt count on it being safe.
fished in the back by the docks, no action.
tried in the far back basin on the launch side and the water was really murkey..
all tho there were a few guys way back in there.
the ice around the docks is still 6" thick.
some anglers went out 50 ft from the docks.
I would`ntt chance it.
so i just sat on the end of a dock and fished among and around the pillers.
just little dinks ....
after i was done i drove down to the DNR launch by the spillway
and i seen quite a few guys out there. 12 trucks at 8.00 pm
save fairhaven for saturday.
