I am with you Hope.
I planned on bagging out of work early and going scouting at a new deer location I found. Well my youngest daughter had a fever last night and today :( and will only quit crying if she is lying on my or my wife's chest. So neither of us got any sleep last night, and I took the afternoon off work; but to give my wife a sanity break.
I carried my daughter around for a couple hours while she got out of the house.
She seems to be kicking the fever, though, so I think I am going to get out hunting early tomorrow morning, and hopefully my wife and the girls will sleep in and get some rest.
Ah well, every day is a circus. :)

Amos, how old is your daughter? Pedia-Care fever/pain reliever reducer works great or Advil for CHILDREN. (not for adults, that can be harmful)- the ibprofen for children works much longer and better than the other stuff. Instead of 4 hours, like most - it lasts 6-8 hours. I use it for all 3 kids; ages 7, 4 and 9 months.

My oldest daughter Riley, is 2.5, my youngest, Reese is 14 months. Reese is just getting back to feeling herself (which means headbutting her sister and tackling her). My concern now is that Riley is just about certain to get the same bug. Pedialite does help when we can trick Reese into drinking it. We have tried every flavor and she spits out. She is doing pretty well now though. Soon it will be time for sledding of the toboggan run I will make off my deck!

Hope,
This is me sheepish. I typed without reading carefully.
However, rehydration is another target to address during and post fever symptoms. Pedialite does work well for that.
Thanks for the recommendation nonetheless.
Take care,
Amos

yah, I know what you guyz are going through. My bro has been sick 3 times this school year. I use to fake sick all the time but know I am going for the high school record. LOL i havent missed a day let and not planning on 2. Anyone know what kind of sickness it is when you get bumps on your belly and they turn all white and you feel light headed and everything. Then you start barfing. I hope i can go all year with out a single day. Everyone, I hope your kids feel better so you can have your time back to ur self.

stelmon, I am not sure about the bumps - but I had a headache, dizziness and felt terrible last night- some type of bug going around. I'm not sure you can escape sickness when attending school. good luck. :)
