Watch The Longshank on Versus this week!

Hey everybody!

Y'all be sure and check out Fishing University this week on the Versus Network. Me and Charlie Ingram were down in Alabama spanking some prespawn bass on The Longshank. The show will be on this Friday at 8:30am CST and then again this Sunday at 12:30pm CST.

No,,,,, classic black shorts for TV!!! There's actually a story behind those shorts and why they're in that picture. We were down on Eufala for that trip and I was fishing with Mike Bolton and his photographer that morning. Mike Bolton is the sportswriter for the biggest newspaper in Alabama. They were doing a story on The Longshank and the day before we had taken all the pictures they were going to use for the article and that day was suppose to be just fishing. Well none of us could've imagined that I would catch an 11lber that morning. We were all dressed VERY casually, hell it was a fishing trip right? Sure enough we get out there and the first fish of the day was that monster so we start scrambling trying to find a place to get a good picture then I realized I was in a funky pair of shorts and a t-shirt so we finally found a guy that let us use his dock and I threw on my tournament shirt over the t-shirt and the rest was history. I still like those shorts though they're comfy.:lol: Somebody made a comment about my flip flops too, they're a cheap $2.00 pair of Old Navy flip flops that I'd had for a couple of years. So I guess you guys wear nothing but Eddie Bauer to the lake?:D

What's wrong with you guys, from a state surrounded by water and fish, what could you possible learn from some southern pudknocker? No one south of Toledo will ever show me anything about catching a fish. f-that sheet:rolleyes:
