Oh boy. They had to go and do it.
I have Rapala pliers, several Rapala pliers. Undoubtedly the best pliers for split rings I have ever used. Nice long length for deeply hooked fish.
But they don't cut.
Then I found these after watching a couple hundred dollar pair of fancy schmancy saltwater pliers slide off the dashboard and into the water......

Nice, cut anything. Decent length. Tough as hell, Replaceable cutters (not that I have had to replace them, and I have had these a few years).
But they are too darn heavy for wading, they weight down the pack, vest whatever.
Then at the fly show I found Dr Slicks Pices pliers, lightweight, carbide cutters etc....... Yea, just add them to the inventory. :dizzy:

Now this morning I am sitting there having my morning constitutional, and it's a good thing I was where I was. I flipped the page and lookie here...
everything in one. I sure wouldn't want to wade with these, but how handy......... :help::help::help::help::help::help::help:
