Open Water?????????????

Does anybody know of anything that is open yet? I am going stir crazy at home and need to fish. The River is just not cutting it for me anymore.

Oh a week or two the lake should be open, just drove by New Baltimore park and there is maybe 50yrds of ice the rest was all open. These are the days I wtill wish I had my boat. Just thinking another month the eye's wil be going behind Gino's.

Maple lake (?) it is the lake in PawPaw. I drive by it every day and it is ice free.......I'm not sure why, baseline lake is still ice covered. You might not want to eat anything if you go fishing there:fish:

I know what you mean. I wasted another morning on the river this morning.:o:o:o:o It needs to get warm shortly. However based on the forecast it doesn't look like it anytime soon.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

2 weeks yet. Check out www.accuweather.com and look at the 15 day forcast.................days 14 and 15 look promising.................getting the boat out of storage this weekend and it'll be more than ready to go by that time................:evil:

Checked Fremont lake yesterday and it's all iced in..................

Just FYI, driving past Baseline lake looks like you can get the boat in. There is still some ice on the west shore line but the rest of the lake looks open!
