Anyone been out to the canals over there? How is the ice? Dont really care if the fishing is hot or slow just want to get out one more time. Any info is greatly appreciated

Fished a couple canals over from there on Friday did very well, limited on blue gill between 5 people, check my post, ice was 8 inches there, but driving by Venetian on South river rd. looked pretty difficult to get on there, :SHOCKED::SHOCKED::SHOCKED:have to find a safer spot to get on I think.
