How many of you have used a guide sevice for a hunt and what was your experience with that guide (good or bad)? Don't forget to include what it was you were hunting for and where your hunt was located.

Born,

So far I have been on two guided hunts. One for black bear the other for caribou. Both in Canada. I have had great experiences on both hunts and really felt that the outfitter and my assigned guide did an outstanding job. I would definitely go back to either again someday.

Born,
Please don't let this go to Joe's head but I used "Top of the Line", bear guide services and had a great time. Joe was honest and hard working. He had good spots to hunt, and was right there on time to drop me off and pick me up. Nice thing when it's dark out.
I'll be going back for sure.
There are some places I won't return to.
But Joe Havnor and his team do a GREAT job at Top of the Line. I give them an A+.

I have used a guide service three times. All three times were on deer hunts in Wyoming. Twice was with the same outfitter, the third was in a different part of the state. Both outfitters had been used by members of our party in the past. I was completely satisfied all three times.
