I hear a deer aproaching from behind me. I turn too see a buck coming as fast a he can. I pick up my bow and draw as he will be in my in shooting lane in a matter of seconds. I grunt to stop him and I am at fulldraw.
He IS not a shooter so I slowly began to Undraw the bow and when the cam breaks over the string jumps foward and my finger touches my realease trigger. :yikes: Bow fires, arrow spines buck, knocking him to the ground. Be careful out there. As a girlfriend once told me it can happen to anyone. Mike

A lot of guys have a problem with premature release in their youth. With practice and experience you generally can hold as long as you want and time your releases to perfection! :D

You need to pull the trigger a couple times before you actually go out and "hunt"!

Don't you realize you're supposed to work the kinks out of your release before the big hunt?!!
By firing off a few shots before the hunt you'll have the confidence during the big hunt to know that you're release will be perfectly timed.

I really felt bad about this, as I did not want to take this young deer. The only good that I can say was he was not wounded. I had somthing simaliar happen while shooting in my basement touched the trigger while drawing and shot the wall. Mike

When the moment of truth " cums ", try thinking of something unsavory and disturbing such as gutting a deer or President Hillary :yikes::yikes:
