My daughter worked at the Novi Boat show this past weekend. She came home raving about a glass-bottom kayak she saw. Got me to thinking. How cool would it be to put a piece of plexiglass or lexan in the bottom of my canoe? Nothing huge, mebbe 18" x 18" windows front and back. Does not seem like it would be too hard. Before I start sawing, has anyone done something like that before? Any advice or tips? Once I get done I will post some pic's.
