I was wondering if anyone has issues with the dropaway chord rubbing on the riser. I was thinking of putting some moleskin on it to avoid abrasion. Anyone else notice this as a potential problem?

I had the exact thing going on with my Trycon, I was able to back out the screw on the piece the cord is attached to and slide it on the shaft toward the flipper, there was another hole for the screw there. Then the string cleared the riser, and it dropped faster too. I had to do this when I switched to F.O.B.s.

Thanks for the info. Im shooting the dropzone and I dont think there is an adjustment similar to what you are talking about. The guy at the archery shop told me to shim it out more but I didnt want to have to mess with it.

I've set up countless Hoyts with various drop away rests. It's never proved to be a problem as long as you set the rest far enough forward.
