searching for a local bass club

hello my name is chris i am 17 and about ready to graduate. i am looking for a local bass club in my area around yankee springs or Grand rapids that i could join so i could get into some bass tournements. i myself dont have a good boat but i was wondering if there was anyway you could be a co angler in another guys boat.:):):):)

Come tourney time, guys often post threads here looking for backseaters (to backseat ;):lol:). Check back then and I'm sure you could find a boat to ride in a time or two, at least.

Heck, if you put fish in the tank, you'll get ALOT more invites!:fish:

most of your local clubs prefer to have an even number of boaters and non-boaters.

do a search on Michigan Bass Fishing Clubs. there are clubs all across the state.

With this new tournament section of Michigan Sportsman, I'm sure you will see guys making posts about needing backseaters all summer. There are a LOT of local clubs and tournaments.

As Sea Nympho said, get into some tournies, catch a few fish, and you will probably start getting INVITATIONS to fish!!

Go to the nbaa web-site (www.nbaa-bass.com (http://www.nbaa-bass.com)). go to the tournament section and you will be able to find tournaments in your area and there is a link that can match you up with a partner...
