Howdy everybody. I am not trying to brag here, but last night my 2 boys 8-6 years old wanted to shoot there bows. So even tho I haen't shot mine in almost 2 years because of back surgerys and not know if I should, I got everything out and shot. Needless to say, the kids had a blast, but I guess the other thing that made me so happy was the fact that I was able to shoot my bow without any pain at all, and now I cant wait til oct 1.Thanks for reading my ramblings, but I am really excited................Matt

PS. the boys did real good shooting as well with their recurves......Matt

sounds great i cant wait for that day when i am able to give my crossbow to
someone else who needs it

dugfish, I havent been hunting in the last 2 seasons, and I was going to go one way or another this year, even if it meant using a crossbow. I guess that is why I am so excited that I was able to shoot my recurve so much. I cant wait...........Matt

Definitely not bragging. Nice to hear some good news.

When you start telling us about the 12pt. you got during the upcoming season.....now that will be bragging.

Hey, I think thats great! I'm excited also, I'm taking my kids (7 and 8) out hunting with me this year a few times.

maddog, your not bragging at all. You have been given a gift in that you will be able to do the things you love to do with the ones you love. My son will be sitting in a tree stand of his own taking pics while I sit in another stand. He turns 12 in Jan and he keeps reminding me that he will be able to turkey hunt in the spring. He tells me, Dad, don't you think I should get a new bow for bow season next year? Dad, can we go shoot 3D today? Dad, can we go to the range and shoot the 22? Boy it's great being a parent. Time is what it's all about. Between work, yard work, Rocket football, basketball, hunting, and fishing, there isn't much time left for me. Hey, wait a minute, those ARE the things I like to do with my time (except the work part). Have fun with your kids maddog!:)
