nice rest it's one of the fast fall away on the market the whammy is next arrow goes thur clean and easy to set up great for target shooting but for hunting i like trophtaker the cord isn't long for the brush can't get hit so look at it in all types of hunting and shooting.

The LD is the easiest rest to set up period. I cannot say that enough. All you do is bolt it on set the rest tension, set the nock, eyeball the center (minor adj as nec) shot attach the cord and you will be shooting bullets in no time. I shot mine all summer and hunted exclusively with it from trees and on the ground. I have never shot better and it allows more helical than I've ever been able to use on thin carbons. It does not attach to the buss cables so it will not affect timing; Important w/Binary systems. I am using mine on a 1993 Hoyt SuperSlam so imagine how well it will work on a new bow. The cord does not come into play either. There are some tips and tricks to make it more forgiving and bullet proof so if you decide to use one let me know. You cannot go wrong. I do not know if it works on the Monster style bows but I think Doc Holiday tried it on his but decide on something else. . .

The LD rest works great but if you decide to purchase one make sure you purchase the one for your bow. They offer a split limb verison as well as a standard limb, the only difference is the way the string attaches to the limb.

A ton of positive feedback on Archery Talk too. There is a guy on AT that makes custom strings for the LD rest also, you can chose a color to match your bow string and the way it attaches to the rest is sweet....only $10 tyd.

To be clear, I wasn't dissing the Monster Bow. I just didn't know if the LD did work on them and didn't know what swampstand had. Tried to cover all the bases....
