Well excitments in the air, cruising the woods seeing all the cubbies of partridge and those bucks romping around the forest floor. It won't be long now till the 12 gauge gets to fire and the bow flings an arrow.

I just love this time of year. Everyone's dressed in camoe and wearing their blaze orange. There are so many choices in how to spend yopur time in the woods. It's a good thing grouse hunting and bow season are separated by a few weeks. Some say the seasons should start earlier but I personally think it a good idea to have the seasons spread out. The anticipation would be lost and the excitment wouldn't be the same.

I have to laugh at myself every deer I see I visualize the kill zone mentally preparing myself for when the time comes. The deer look at me as if I wear nuts, lol. I also like to size em up ruling out the deer who would be too small to shoot. I seen a 4 point with a nice rack but boy was he small. Guess he'll get to live another year to put some weight on and let those horns get a lil bigger.

Well time to go thought I'd share the ramblings of an excited hunter. Born
