Hi, Born
Hey I sent Joe an email about what I should bring up bear huntin'
But maybe you could shed some light on what Cindy may need to survive the U.P.
Thanks,
Kirk

Hmmmmmm, The last few falls up here have been very warm during the day but a might chilly at night. The bugs are terrible up here this year too. I guess it all depends what she'll be doing once she's here. If she'll be grouse hunting during the day pants all the way. I would bring at least 1 summer outfit tho. As I said the nights do get a might chilly and the mornings are frosty so it depends how she tolerates cool weather, especially while shes hanging out watching your bear get skinned, lol.
Bottom line bring mostly pants, a fall jacket, a sweatshirt or sweater in case the jacket is too light, her shotgun and fishing pole, a summer outfit, a pair of boots (the woods can be pretty muddy). She doesn't have to bring alot because we have a laudrymat or she's free to use my washer and dryer. If you plan on going out here theres really no where that she'd be out of place in jeans or camoes. Hunting seasons big up here and no one gets dressed up. What I generally wear in the fall is boots, jeans or camoes, shirt, and hunting jacket and oh yah grease and cookies all over me from bear baiting lol. Hope that helped a lil young man, see yah soon. Trout, you can fish for brookies through the last day in September. There is no prettier creature on the planet.

Hi there trout. I here the walleys are biting on Gogebic which is only 8 miles from my house. The trout are on and off but I'll show the places to go. There are so many trout streams and lakes by my house you could keep yourself busy fishing easily. So many choices so little time. Do I hunt grouse, bow hunt, or fish in the fall. Hmmm I'll make time for it all as the seasons open. The bear sign is looking real good up here. Joe says the baits look great.
I found a nice lil spot to teach my lil boy how to fish for trout. I caught a nice 16 incher there. Theres not alot of trees to get snagged up in but a nice pool where there like to swim around in. Catch yah later, Born
