Arrow advice. I have a 28.5 draw length and I pull 70 pounds. I will be shooting fixed blade broadheads this year at 100 grain. What brand arrow would you guys recommend. I have been shooting beeman, with the short 2" blazer vanes. What arrow brand would you guys recommend or should I stick with the beeman?

Lots of good arrows out there, but stop in to KD Outdoors and check out the CX Maxima's. Super tough arrow.

I've been shooting Easton Superlite ACC's (with 2" Blazers & 100 gr. broadheads) for a few years now. I'm really happy with they way they shoot, but they are expensive.

I have tried them all and I prefer gold tip 55/75

I agree with the statement about going to see ken, there you can try a few and see what you like, but it is like bullets you have to practice and practice. I shoot rather well and can do so with about any arrow, but you will get some guy buy the most exspensive arrow and not hit a paper plate at 20 yards. So it comes down to what you bow likes best

I shot GT 5575's for about 8 years with absolutely no problems. I recently switched to Maxima 350 (because I like to fix things that are not broke) and love them too. To me, they both perform the same. If you're interested, I'm selling 12 of my 30 Maximas. Good luck finding the right arrow for your set-up.

Another vote for the Gold Tips. Will do anything the more pricey arrows will do, at less expense. I shoot basically the same setup as you with the exception of the draw weight. Mine is 60 lbs, and I shoot the Gold Tip 5575 with Blazers and 100 grain SlickTricks from a Switchback XT. You might need the 7595 shaft at 70 lbs.

I've PM Ken and will probably go with the Maxima 350. I'm an average shot. At 20 yards I can put 2 out of 3 in the 10 ring, so I am not looking for a way to improve my accuracy. Just looking for a good arrow since spring is around the corner.

Last year a guy at work talked me into some Easton Navigator FMJs. Got a heck of a deal on them....$105.00 per dz. WOW, what a dream to shoot.
With all the wisdom of a stump, I thought wouldn't these be fun to hunt with. It took a bit of cobleology since they won't take an insert due to the small diameter as well as a belt sander to the broadheads to make them fit. They were amazing to hunt with except for the part where you here them snap as the deer is running off into the woods:yikes:(the arrow went through and lodged into the knuckle on the opposite shoulder).
If you get a chance, I would highly recommend any of Easton's FMJ arrows!

One thing to consider: Anything with aluminum in it, can and will get bent. All carbon: it's either straight or broke. Just food for thought. In my opinion; i'd rather have arrows that are straight, and not worrying about the ones that might be bent a little. They cost too darn much to keep replacing bent ones. Just my opinion...;)

fmj arrows are thick alum outside is thin but the carbon thick like the axes arrows it's hard to bend them the engery that comes from this arrows are sweet we tried them for hunting and no problems at all the don't flex the weight and striaghtness are on i haven't found an arrow to beat them yet now the other arrows out their are just as good but you can't say bad about other arrows but if you won't a strong arrow and you won't kec and a hard hitting arrow try the full metal jackets you won't be sorry .
