WTB 40 hp

I am looking to repower my 16 foot aluminum v hull. I currently have a merc 25hp on her and it's just not enough to get around. Trolls down great for handlining but I need more speed to move around.

If anyone has a 40 with controls for sale I would be interested. Looking for something relatively new, mid 90's and up. Must be in great condition. No tillers.

Also any suggestions where to look locallly besides craigs list or ebay?

I will also need to sell the 25 so if anyone needs one its up for sale.

Is the 25 a tiller or remote unit? Long or short shaft? Any other info, make, year, price? Have a bro-in-law looking for a 25.

I am pretty sure I'll be upgrading to a 60 hp here shortly. I currently have a 40 hp Mariner that will bolt right up for you... if you need the controls I believe I can help you out with that too. It's a 1988 and the stickers are a bit faded.... but it's a tight motor that runs like a watch.
