My eyes are getting old on me. I just can't see like I used to and I don't want to hunt with glasses. I have an extreme sniper sight with a lens that helps but I was wondering if a pollington red dot would help more. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

I have the same problem. I tried the pollington and wasnt really happy with that one either. I am pretty happy with my viper archery products h1000 with the zeiss lens. You can get them in 2x,3x,4x or 6x. I have the two and it as made a huge difference for me.

Not to sound like an *** but use glasses. I didnt want to use them but what a difference. I went from just seeing a body to actually seeing strands of hair. Not to mention small branches and tall grass that gets in the way. After trying everything on the market your going to figure out glasses are the answer, trust me I tried everything. Just my opinion please dont take it wrong;)

Buckwiz nailed it.....nothing will help as much as glasses.

Specialty Archery makes a peep designed for you guys actually.
It's called a "Verifier".
It's basically a peep with interchangeable apertures. Some of the apertures have lenses and they work just as wearing glasses would but in the peep.
I haven't needed the verifier lenses but use the clarifier for target with anything over a 4X scope with great success.
The 2 guys I know that use the verifiers bought them for a solution to your exact problem and swear by them.

Don't the frames get in the way of vision to the target? I have same problem, the pins are blurred but i can see the target clearly, (farsited)

you can get wrapp around lens for shooting with no bar in the middle lots of wing shooters use them.

I have the same problem "Old Eyes". I shoot with glasses all the time but I don't want to hunt with them as there might be a reflection off them plus it is harder to use binoculars with glasses. I wear contacts to hunt with. Can't read with them but can see good to hunt.

Thanks everyone for your input. I have glasses but they are bifocals and if the frame doesn't get in my way then the lenses really do. I remember a buck I wanted to shoot at looked very close when I looked up but very far when I looked thru the peep. I hate wearing those darned things. thanks
Love my Pollington Red Dot. My vision has changed since I have gotten older and the Pollington has helped me dramatically. With fiber optics I was seeing more than one dot horizontally. No more. I have red dots on my Mathews bow and two shotguns. I guess my recommendation would be to actually look thru one and then you will know if it works for you. Good luck.
