Brewed a brown ale yesterday, ended with an OG of 1.080, I pitched the yeast cake from an amber I brewed last week.
Within two hours C02 bubbles pushed threw the one-inch tube about every two seconds,
six hours later krausen began moving threw the tube,
twelve hours later the outlet bucket filled up,
I’ve switched to a larger bucket since these photos were taken.
If you have the opportunity to brew once a week try pitching the cake from the previous brew especially with higher gravity beers.
