I have a hard time seeing green/chartreuse at all.Orange is a bit better and red is much better. Pink[going on a suggestion from a trusted source, thanks Mark;)] is much more visible to me.

I think it's all individual. Tommy,if you're having trouble seeing one color try another and if that doesn't work, try a shorter drift.I have very bad eyesight and pink is a good color for me,but that's me.

Good luck with it.

Yup, The red colored Drennan floats are by far the most visible floats that I have ever found. I can see that color for a mile, but I can barely see the chartreuse 20 feet away and the orange 50 feet away, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions as I had no idea what the problem with the float visibility issues were. I guess there isn't much else it could be though:lol:.

I can see the orange on the KJV Butterfly floats really well too. Not sure what the difference is between that orange and say the orange on the original Blackbird floats, but I can't see the orange blackbirds at all...

KeystoneSpawnMesh is on the right track with pink as well, but I still see that red color the best. It's just a matter of what colors each individual sees the best. Personally I like it when I can't see it at all and I feel this funny pull on the end of my line....:coolgleam

How's that V-Hard treating you Shawn?

I'm just blind as a bat...

I have a bunch of the gander mountain floats that I picked up when the Pontiac store closed up... They seem like they would have a higher profile sticking out of the water then say a drennan. But they only had them up to 8 grams. I was looking for bigger floats...

I haven't really had a chance to play with my pin yet... was simply hoping to be fully prepared with an assortment of floats.

If you can "SEE" them in the store, the pink Thill slider bobs work well.

If not,the red top Drennans work decent for those of us who are visually challenged.

Just a thought.

Unlike Axisgear I can't see red or pink floats very well. In fact I can't see the orange Siglon F either. I think I'm red/green color blind or something. For me the chartruese (they look yellow to me:lol:) Blackbird floats and Siglon FF are the only ones I've been able to see. I think Sheffield also has floats in the same color.

Drennan has all of their floats available in chartreuse as well if you are interested in them...
