Our very own Wolfden String is top notch!! Won't find any better and you can't beat the price. Give Jason a call or drop him a PM. http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/member.php?u=20588 or http://www.wolfdenstrings.com/index.shtml
I have used Bucknasty strings in the past, but decided to go with Wolfden (Fission) strings this time...so far they are working great!

We've had really good luck with Vapor Trail here.
I'm getting ready to put a set of the new G5 string and cables on my Katera. I'm curious as to how nice these are.

I have a set on the Vulcan I am selling right now. They were actually pretty nice. No stretch or allignment issues at all.

I am going to order a set of rock solid strings or deezlin. The fuse strings on my new katera are crap. I cant believe how much they have stretched so far. One of the worst factory strings i have seen. There are alot of good manufactures out there. There are a ton of them over on archery talk that make them.

I know I’m probably spelling it wrong, but I love my Cordoza string. I have put thousands of shots threw it and after the first 50 shots it has not moved. In over 4 years of shooting in all kinds of temperatures I have NEVER had issues with the peep not turning like other strings in the past. It won’t be happening anytime soon, but when I get a new bow the factory string will be coming off, and another Cordoza will be going on ;)

I would go with a BuckNasty Custom Bowstrings, he is out of North Carolina and is very resonably priced. I have not haad a problem with string strech or anything JMO.

My experience with them has not been good. The biggest complaint we've had is the the loops on a lot (at least the ones we get) are too small on a lot of them. There have been others problems as well...just a lot of inconsistencies. We sell them cause they're inexspensive...I'll always try to sell the VaporTrails...lot better string.

Can one of you posters give me a primer on string?
What are the variables?
Material?
Different types of string thread?
Stretchability?
Stability?
Servings?
I read above about 'too-small loops'.....OK, I can understand that but are there other 'craftmanship' issues than just that?

Though some of those big names are enticing, remember they usually have a backlog and you may have to wait anywheres from 1 to 6 months for a set of strings.
The problem with dealing with some out of state makers is customer service, it may take a couple of days for them to get back to you (if they even do). I would rather deal with a local good string maker that is willing talk to you and make it easy to contact them, then with someone you have to continue mailing strings back and fourth until you are satisfied.
Done with the blabbbbering...
