Thanks for the suggestion! I have had a hard time finding a variety of goose recipes. Checked out the recipes at the Ducks Unlimited site and they have a lot to choose from. John went goose hunting over the weekend and wanted to try some different dinners. They have some one's that I can't wait to give a try.
Here's one that we made last year and I've got cooking now, simple and good:
Barbequed goose on a bun
Take 4-6 goose breasts and put in a crock pot
Cover with onion pieces, I used leek, and 1 apple sliced.
Season with garlic powder.
Add water to barely cover the breasts. Cook on low until tender.(approximately 8 hours). Remove the breasts and drain the crock pot. Shredd the goose and return to the crock pot and add you all-time favorite BBQ sauce and heat on low till ready to serve on a bun.

That sounds delish!! I have 4 breasts to cook so I will not use all of them, will just have to reduce the recipe. Thanks for the idea :)
