I heard from one of my co-workers who drove past on the way in today that there was a rescue operation of some sort going on out there before 6:00 this morning so you may want to stay clear of there.

Did anyone ever hear what happened? I was out there from 7:30 - 11:30 on Saturday and I didn'e see anything.
Yesterday a friend of mine and I went out and consistently found only 3.5 - 4.0 inches of ice out past (SE) of the jam. As I suggested in another thread; keep the snow mobiles inside the jam and if it rains don't even walk over the jam. It aint worth it!
