Any one been doing any good? My dad's neighbor is putting a tourney for kids on this Sun and was wondering where if any hot spots are located since I've never fished it. Larry

I have been out there 3 times this year and have not caught a single fish. Is the kids tournament something private or is it open to all? My kids have not been out ice fishing this year and they have been bugging me lately to go.

I dont think bugging you is the correct term. You should be honored to have your kids wanting to go fishing with you. I sure hope when i have kids they will want to tag along with me....

I think you guys misunderstand, it's easy to do over the internet. It's not like that, honestly. I have been wanting to take them but the way the season started off I sure wouldn't take them on that kind of ice. Then there has been like 3 weeks of me going to a couple of tournys and to LSC. During that time they kept "asking" when they get to go. Hopefully that sounds better to you, you know cuz I care what you think.

I'm sure that is his manly affectionate way of saying my kids that I love very much and wish I spent more time with want me to take them fishing. I only wish that first ice was safe or the bite was good enough to take them out. The best ways to stop them from ASKING to go is for them to fall through and drown ,or not get A bite, much less CATCH a fish. Lets not call child protective services just yet!:dizzy:
