okuma guide select

hey ya all i currently own an aventa float rod 13' i was considering getting a okuma guide select in the same length...was wondering if any one has tried out one of these rods and how it measures up , personally the aventa is a little to wimpy, and it lacks backbone. I cant justify paying $130 plus shipping for another okuma rod with out getting some feed back on it first :dizzy:

personally i have not used one yet but from what everyone says there not all that great you might want to check out the raven line for a little more money.....

yeah that was what i was thinking a raven ....... the okuma has a much better warranty but i dont need two over priced bluegill rods
