Anything biting at Wixom?

Going to try to make it out saturday for some gills and crappie. Have They been hanging around still around the dnr lanch? what is the best way to fish crappies minnows or spike/waxies?thanks for any help

are being caught. Crappie Fest had a number of very nice fish, mostly caught by the dam in deeper water, 5/6 feet off the bottom. Most were caught on waxies or spikes.
