Vertical vs. Horizontal

What has been your best jigs in getting the gills to bite...horizontal or verticals ? You can even toss in your style and color combos. Plan on hitting it all day tomorrow until I get my limit. Gonna' throw the whole kit and kaboodle at em' if necessary, but just looking for a starting point. Been a tough bite all over ! Thanx all...
