Harsens Island ?

Any reports on ice fishing on Harsens Island canals or Muscamoot ? Heading out this weekend.

There are some fish to be caught on the island if you can get there. Alot of ice in the north channel today. I would call to see if the ferry is running before I decided to go over. Once over you might not get back.

as of the last few hours, n. channel around here is free of ice!

As far as I know it always runs. I've been fishing there for 20+ years, never been stuck there and only delayed once, 3 years ago for 3-4 hours. We'll be over there sunday for some gills/crappies.

Just because Shane and I had an all you can eat perch dinner while you waited(slept) in line is no reason to be bitter. Shane tried calling you to wake you, but it seems you went deep. You still got on the same ferry we did, right? Never mind we left the line to eat.:D:D

Not to mention sheilding you from those freezing waves last time.:lol:
