If we could understand your puncuation maybe we could better communicate with you, last time i heard when you begin a sentence it starts with a capital letter on the word following the period;) But we all make mistakes right, this isnt school last time i looked. despite the typo? I think not...Did 99% of the people reading this thread understand it's title? Answer: yes...Too much time is taken criticizing spelling and grammar and not enough time is spent replying and complimenting to other's informative reports...My 2 cents...:dizzy:

fished fair haven today 1:00 until dark, was out about 3/4 mile ice was good .trucks going out past me. fishing was slow, mostly small fish.water was a little murky. hope that helps.

Call opra or DR Phil if you want to critique and criticize people for telling us or asking us where the fish are.
Your negetive posts will drive people from the site or lead to people to posting notes to get other guys to try fishing the spots for there scouting methods

Now before I get lumped into a group of people that criticize to be annoying, I want to explain MY comment. The thread was titled Fairheaven (until someone fixed it) and I thought it may have been a joke because of how that place it lately. Like sarcastically calling it "Heaven" when it has been like Hell for fishing this year.

Fished there yesterday. Ice is very good. Water is clear in close and cloudy out farther. Most of the wooden shanties have been removed. Fishing was poor.

I have been reading this today today and have enjoyed it. Dialtone makes a comment about Fair "Heaven" and the race is on (I saw it too Dialtone when it was mis-typed).

We are jumpy:yikes:. I'm blaming it on the crappy snow and leap year.

One guy gave a good report to the original question, I'll mimic it, I was out there Monday, ice was 12" + or - depending on where you drilled. Most people were out far, 3/4 mile? and seemed to be spread out between the Raft and the DNR. I fished in the afternoon and caught one. I fished out from the Raft with minnows. Water was clear to about 4'.
