Went out for a drive after fishing out at cotten did not do good at all that day and saw a few shanties out at Brandonberg trying to see how the ice is and if they where gettinfg anything i have not been able to get out this year over there do to the ice and would like to if it is safe and the fish are there Thanks for any info

I am headed out to brandenburg in the morn to see how the fishing is, anyone have any reports for me? or should i be going somewhere else?

It seems its pretty much a crap shoot right now....They'll be in one spot today and 3 miles down the coast the next.

I went out yesterday afternoon but didn't have much time (little over an hour). My son and I went to one spot that was productive last weekend along the jam south of the pier. Origianlly, it looked good. I had our holes drilled at 5:20 and instantly started catching a few. After 2 or 3 keepers they stopped and were gone. I moved around a little but couldn't get on top of the fish. At 6:00 pm, the wind changed and it started snowing. We really didn't see anything or get a hit after that. We quit at 6:30 and went home with just 13 fish between 8 and 10 inches. Now I am not sure if the fish have moved out or if they were just turned off. There was one blue shanty 300 yards out in front of the pier all by himself. That is the area I usually have to move to this time of year.

fished from 9am till 12.only caught a few .water was crystal clear.ice is a foot thick.saw a huge musky chasin the dinks.might go back out today.
