Alpena area ice tourney,Need help good cause

Sorry for the short notice. A few weeks ago a man went through the ice on Beaver lake in Alpena county and lost his life. Since then his family has been trying to raise funds the by the local FD and Air boat for Ice Rescue. They have decided to sponsor a tournement on March 8th lasting all day on Beaver lake. This FD would assist many other deparments with this new equipment. Lakes in there service area are Fletchers Flood waters. Thunderbay river and Beaver lake. Some of the other lakes in the area that they could be called to include, Hubbard, Alcona pond, Hillman area lakes, Lake Huron and many others in the Alpena area.
Looking for some MS guys to come support a good cause. I will post more as soon as I get the finished flyer ...Mike

That's a very good cause! When you get the information complete, post it ASAP. Its difficult to get the word out to the locals here. Get it out on Perch's Community Calendar if possible. Also I think its WATZ radio will announce it.

Tourney is 630 am start. Fee is $10 with 50% payout for prizes. First Walleye to station and largest Walleye of the day, pay! There will be a Raffle as well going on all day. Raffle prizes are a portable shanty, Underwater fish cam, fishing package and $15 dollars each for Northest bait/tackle and Wild Bills bait. Local restaruants are providing food on the ice as well.
