Made the decision to buy a new bow. Wow, has the technology changed!! It's been a week and I can still say I have a smile on my face like a kid at Christmas. I chose the following,

2008 Darton Pro 2000
HHA Single pin Pro 5500
KazAway 07 Drop away rest
A dozen Gold Tip Ultralight 22's
and few more items, like a Doinker stabilizer, a second suppresor and all the other small things to go with.

I purchased the setup from the Hockshop in Port Huron, I can say this, Tim really knows his stuff. He answered all my questions and spent the time needed to get me familiar with my new bow. Very satisfied so far with my investment.:)

Congrats! The Darton Pro Series are excellent looking bows. I am a life-long Darton fan and would definitely go with the Pro Series line (probably Pro5000 since I shoot fingers) if I were to purchase a new bow today!
Merry Christmas!

I got one last year. Great Michigan made bow. Went to the shop in Hale and actually talked to the head engineer that works with the production. They are very "customer orientated" and was very excitied about thier new cam technology. He explained abunch of stuff that went completely over my head, but I guess thats why he's the expert.:dizzy::lol: All I know it is a sweet shooting bow. Enjoy and congrats!

Thanks Guys,

I agree, Tim explained a ton of things to me as well, that went over right over my head.

The bow will be used for 3D and Hunting. 6 arrows are setup for 3D with 1.5 blazer's and 6 with 2" for hunting. New to all the arrow weight stuff but I am learning. My arrows are 318gr, now the ? is what broadhead to shoot. The bow shot 323 threw the Chrono, Speed for 3D is great from what I can tell. But I really want to have the correct setup for deer also, I am not to concerned about losing a few FPS with a heavier arrow.

AH glad to hear that... I was going to say something yesterday but I didn't want to rain on the parade.:)... IMO the GT 22s are on the light side and not a very tuff arrow for hunting.... For hunting you'd probably be better off going with something stronger and heavier....I personal use Gold tip XTs for hunting but there are a lot of great arrows out there ...

As for broadheads... there are so many good heads out there...
I have had good luck with
G5 montecs
Slick Tricks

I shot XT's out of my last bow. A buddy of mine shot his 22's for deer last season and had no issue. Not sure yet on what i will do, lots of time to decide. I just want to get dialed in for now and start shootin some 3D distance shots for fun. Something I have never really tried to do, or should I say felt comfortable doing. With this new bow I can't wait.

Yeah I cant wait for this frick'n snow to melt so I get out and shoot some 3d and take longer shots than 20 yards...
