Lake Misaukee Info Please!

Some buddies and I are headed up next weekend and wondering about the conditions of the ice, and a fishing report. Anyone driving on the lake yet?

Lake Missaukee should have lots of ice by now. I have not fished the lake in a couple months so I am not sure how much snow there is.

I have fished it several times, not much luck. Plenty of ice, some driving on it, I wouldn't!

I haven't been out there in about a month so I can't say how thick the ice is now but the last time I was there ice was about 18 inches thick in the area I was at. There is people driving on it and it does not look like there is much snow on the ice. I saw yesterday where someone drove in off green road and about 100 yards out it looked like they hit a slush pocket so if you drive out be careful. The temps have not been above freezing all week and it is still-12 as I am typing this, so dress warm and good luck..

i'm leaving to go there in a couple of hours, be there for the weekend. lots of ice, been driving on it alot. been doing good on the gills, some perch and walleye. also a few pike been taken. the fishing has been better on lake cadillac

I was up at Missaukee last weekend, fished straight out from green rd. .9 of a mile and a little to the west. It was great. Limited on nice gills, had to sort a lot of small ones. Lots of people driving on the ice. One small pike and about a 5 lb bass on a tip up. We fished two days and had a blast. pm me if you need more info.:D

just got back from missaukee, fished off green rd also. didn't limit out but got alot of fish and yes you have to sort out the little ones, but there is a lot of big ones to be had. got a few bass on the tip-ups and lost a lot of minnows. think small bass or perch strikes.
i got a lot of bullheads also up there throu the ice over the weekend. still driving anywhere you want as of today.
