That's the best kept secret in the state..............
Best thing to do is check the DNR statewide walleye planting records which will show you where most plantings went.

Doesn't mean squat, except that that chance of catching a walleye of any size is particularly good. I know a couple of lakes with serious plantings and you can catch 14 1/2 inch fish all day long.
Plantings mean nothing without a good growth rate.

i dont here of any one ice fishing it .but holloway resevoir is about as good as it comes i pulled anywhere from 35 to 50 walleye out of there last summer some good size too

Magician Lake in Cass County from what I hear. I don't fish for eyes, as I wouldn't know where or how to start. Another decent lake for eyes would be Diamond Lake in Cass County. This far south in MI there are not a whole lot of walleye lakes.

I would have to say if someone told me I had one day to catch a walleye or else... I would go to Saginaw Bay.
