I see the same couple of trucks parked at the end of the boat slips right at the bend across from Markley Marina all the time. Guy today was on his bucket spitting distance from the open water in the river.
Any idea what might be in that area? Seems a tad bit "adventerous"!!!:yikes:

Fat perch and an occasional 'eye??????????? not my cup of tea.....but have talked to a few guys...who claim to do good on the river. interested to see what some guys who have fished there will say.

Hit or miss for the nice perch have had on two steelies.If you can get by the mouth it is usually more consistant for the nicer perchies.

Man, that's as dangerous as it gets, most of the river is wide open further up. That's as close as you'll ever get to jumping out a plane, while sitting on a bucket!! Bring your floatation device!!

I agree with smoker,i prefer catching my perch on a line, not swimming after them!!
