I've been thinking of using my bow this year on turkeys. I use 100 gr. Thunderheads on deer. I would like some input from those of you that have shot some turkeys with their bow, both positive and negative experiences. Also, the pros & cons of using the Thunderheads.
Thanks, Scott

i have shot 3 turkeys with my bow and all of them fell to 125 gr spitfires...... i watched my buddy drop a turkey in its tracks at 53 yards with a thunderhead...... after it skipped off the dirt  got it all on video if you want proof.... its all about shot placement just as deer... but you cant beat a good open on impact with a good cutting circumference... and spitfires have an inch and a half...
Check out this thread from a week or two ago......

Also, if you do a search over in the turkey forum you will probably come up with some more info.
