SANG sunday 2/24/08

[the rhino]

took the wife out today to sang.
fished down by the baracks in 3ft of clear water.
started out at 10.30 am and had a lot of action till about 1.30
but no - size today- at all
biggest one measured only 8 "
kept all 18 fish not to impressive..
shanties were scattered all over.
if any of you that fished out deep i`d like to here how you did.
i did have one jumbo come in and sit for 10 minuts.
probably should invest in a spear.
and please if you bring the kids and the snowmobile
stay AWAY from
shanties :mad:
we don't care how fast you can go.
go up to fairhaven and play.. :D
tommrrow the barometer will be droppin
and the fish should start bittin.
going to try again.

We were one of the people the went out deep. Trust me you did awsome compared to us. We pulled in a goose egg. We were in 8 fow with an Aquaview down there. Saw the smallest perch ever with no bites. Atleast we got out on a beautiful day.

Was also out there bout 11 till dark went down to Cotton then back to the barracks and couldn't find any perch with any size to them. At about 4:30 I decided to go for some gills and ended up with these. Lost more than caught.

Definately no shortage on dinks yesterday.:rolleyes: Brought a few home but is was pretty slow out there. Two CO's walking around with buckets looking like ice fishermen. Be legal and fish with 2 rods and watch your limits.(shouldn't be hard with all the dinks).:lol:

Yeah, and don't forget the tip-ups count towards your rod quota.:idea:
