Wow, that is some fast tying. I always knew I need to tie more to get faster. I estimate it would take me about 3 minutes too, except it would be 3 minutes per type of material used. So, figure about 30-35 minutes for me.

What type of vise do you tie on? I heard that Nore Vise can be a lot faster when learned than conventional vises.

That pattern, by the way, looks really really good. Let us know how it fishes.

i just have a conventional pick me up vise, but its like they say if its not borken dont fix it, i need to upgrade, ive also been tying for about 13 years now and i found a few short cuts for my self. the fly is really simple, tail- pheasant tail, body- oregon cheese chinelle, back- pheasant tail, gills- underwing feather wrapped 3 -4 times.. hatchins part is copper wire, tan dubbing, black and white saddle hackel, wing-white yarn, legs- phesant tail, eyes small weighted type, head- tan dubbing.

awsome, man you can tie some cool lookin flies and im sure that they work. Its funny i look at this pattern and say o i could tie that pretty easy, then i sit down and just get frustrated and never actually get it.
