My first batch of anything.

I will have to see if this comes out drinkable or not. It is just a gallon of AJ with a bit taken out and replaced with 2 cups of water with 3/4 cups of sugar dissolved. Added some yeast and a campden tablet. See what happens I guess. I didnt want to have to do a big bottling project so I went with a small yeild.

Plan to rack when it stops "working" if it starts for me:rolleyes:. If this works I will bottle a few samples in some beer bottles, but at least put one away to try a year or so after my first attempt.

Red start champagne yeast. I heard that the champagne yeast was best for apple?????

It will taste like alcoholic apple juice. It is hard to describe, it wont be a wine and but it wont be a hard cider either. You can also do this with many varieties of frozen concentrates (i.e. Welches frozen grape juice). Good luck, interested to see how it turns out for you. Please keep us posted!
