welcome to the site.I too fished genos today ,it was a bad evening i only caught about 12 had 5 that were nine they ended up swimming away,lost a piggy half way up man was that fish just pounding.I didnt hook up on fish till i switched to a black and chrome spoon/bead combo.back to mitchells for me on thursday...come on slobs!

lots of ice 8-10'" their was a small open spot about a little under a quarter mile due south east.The lot does acomadate four whellers also seen a guy go in to the dnr launch from their with wheels.That is where ill be going out of in the am.look for a guy with a blue cast!

Crocker? Been there before, didn't want to make the ride from Metro today I hate being the first one i see. That is where I will probably be for the afternoon, if anyone else is going out let me know. Will probably leave the house around 11.

You can get a quad out there from Ginos.

When you pull in the lot go all the way to the left, you will see trucks parked up on a little dirt hill. There is a little area up there where you can take the quad down into the ice.

I don't know where that's at. I've fished from Ginos to Beacons each of the last three days, 2 to 7 feet deep. The best visibilty I've seen is about four feet. I'd call it fairly stained still.

I have to say is is pretty clear fished in 10' today their was a slight current.the water was dirtier in close the past few days.consider that yesterday i caught fish on a black bead.?

I dont know i was too busy pullin in piggys!i could see the jig a long way down there .I think if you could see four feet that is pretty far considering their is no light really relflecting down their right know with all this snow.I did notice that in closer it wasnt as clear but still pretty dang clear for lsc in the winter, their wasnt as much current pulling the spoon either. maybe it flushed out faster a little ways out?

I'll have to agree with the stained part. I too have been there the last three days and have been one of the guys the farthest out in 8fow. Clarity only about 5 with a glow jig. Has been so so the last two days with a mixed bag of fish. Tore em up three days ago. Still nice fish there, gotta work em.;)

After trying Jimmys for a bit I should be at Ginos sometime today also.
