My dad and his buddy were out there yesterday 3/4 mile out in 8 foot of water. They had a ranger orv, they never got a bite. although there was a nice 10" of ice. He read your post and was pretty discouraged that you were cathing fish and the did not get a bite. Congrats Riverrat777!!!:)

You know last year around this time I noticed the fish were biting high off the bottom. I even had one take a dead minnow out of the ice hole. I wonder if its because they are now comfortable with the ice on top. Or maybe they are jsut getting darn hungry.

I have a buddy who's taking his father out this weekend to LSC, but he can't walk very far do to health reasons. Are fish in close or do you have to walk a ways?

Any other location to get fish without hiking a mile??

They don't have access to any machines:(

They don't have access to any machines:(Tell him to go to the raft and fish the canals. a couple 100 yards at the most for a walk. Good fishing too - Bryon
