I am tired of having to type White Lake (whitehall) or White Lake (oakland co) . There has to be a way to settle this. Online fishing derby lake vs lake.
Losers have to find a new name for their lake.

That is a good one Beck.:lol:

The fishermen over here have brains enough to keep their Durangos parked on shore

I thought about our superfund sites but did not know how to bring it up.

There is another thing that eastern white lake that our weswtern WHITE LAKE does have. That is access to Lake Michigan and all that great fishing and the clean sand beachs to swim form. You don't even need a boat to fish the BIG Lake you can fish from the piers.

BTW - Because this is a family site I won't post any pics, it can only be described as a smaller version of Jobby Nooner & the Bud Bash on Houghton Lake! Band, Booze and B--bs! :yikes: :evilsmile

With any luck the Durango will still be out on the island and we can use the radio in it this year!

And maybe after 15 more years you'll figure out that it actually resides in both White Lake and Highland! ;) I live off of Ormond Rd side, Ridge Rd. I know it's White Lake Twp because that's who I have to deal with when I remodeled and its who I pay my taxes too! :yikes: You must live off of the Duck Lake Rd side? ;)

Were these two White Lakes named after a famous White or what? And how is Montague pronounced; I hear some occasionally prononce it with the "H" sound or a silent "G", bit mostly with a hard "G".
My dad always said, "The P is silent, as in 'swimming'."......

Hamilton Reef

Montague is pronounced with hard g at the senior center and with the historical guys at Lipka.

REEF Shouldn't that be the histerical guys at Lipkas. Especially when Chuckie screws up and votes Democrat.

multibeard, The historical guys are laughing 'hysterically' at Chuckie right now who is wide eyed foaming berserk over the way politics are going right now. His support for Hillary is almost making sense compared to his rants over McCain. Chuckie's late Democrat wife (very sweet gentle lady) is rolling over in her grave. She pronounced Montague with a hard "G".
