circle hooks and tip-ups???

what size circle hooks do you guys use on your tip-ups?. i just got bit by the tip-up bug over the last 2 weekends and i'm lovin it. its almost as bad as the deer cam bug. i've yet to get a pike on a tip up though. had quite a few chances over the weekend but it just did'nt pan out. did get a bass though.

I use a #8 octipus circlehook
I have very good luck with this size but I woudn't go any larger than the size #4 as stated in the above post....
