West branch/Skidway Area?

Headed up this weekend to try the ice. Just wondering how the fishing was around the area. Usually try Peach, Elbow, Skidway, or St. Helen Lakes. Use tip ups and/or jig for gills, walleye, or perch. Wouldnt mind trying a new lake if someone has a suggestion. Any info is helpful so we can coordinate a plan for saturday. Ill post reports after the weekend.

Ive only fished peach up, there got a few eyes over a drop off from 12-26 ft. There is a pond up there I do well at two.If you take 75 north and get off at exit 202 make a left at Greenwood and take it pased the first stop sign.Just after the tracks there is a house and just after that there is a parking area(not very big maybe 6-7 cars) on left. the back right corner theres a brush pile set up on that and you will do well on gills.

Yeah, I know the area off greenwood our place is right there in Skidway. Ive tried the eyes before through the ice on peach and just cant get'em:dizzy:. Last year we did not do well on peach, if you have any hints Id appreciate it. Are you talking about the drop off in the narrow part of the lake:confused:. You can PM me if you wish, if not Ill post a report monday, probably try peach saturday evening.
