We were North of Cotton on Sat. afternoon, ice was nice at 6". With this weather, it should really seal the deal......Ended up with some fish.....

Ice is in great shape at cotton...all the slush is firmed up. Tough bite today. Fished deep and shallow. Water was a bit dirtier than it has been. Guys were getting out as far as ive seen all yr. And to the jerk in the white escort Lic.# BIN 5163......be glad i didnt just throw it in reverse and push your heap of crap out of my way....why do people insist on blocking others in?????

the bottom 12-18 inces was milky in every hole i popped today. i could make out my bait...but it was tough seein fish.

Wondering about the quads myself, want to go out in the morning and don't know if I should bring it or not.

Haven't been out to Cotton yet, but I would think with the way the weather has been it would be safe. We are taking our Quad out there tomorrow afternoon.

I saw a couple 3-wheelers yesterday...ice is about 7 inches.

I got blocked in at Higgins Lake one time. I had to back up, get out, pick my trailer up by myself, back up some more, again, again until I could get out. I left the guy a big squirt of ketchup to freeze on his windshield and a nasty note to explain why. I don't know if that will work for you but it made me feel better.

There was enough ice on Sunday, but the top layer was slush, which would make it hard to get around. Now that is has firmed up, No problem on the quads......Boedy, I quess my buddy almost took a ride on Sunday, but the crack only opened up 5 feet.....and that was towards the shore....

My Dad used to have a business card he would leave on the windshields of parking challenged idiots, it read:
