well left for work this morning and got half way to work when i was going down a hill and put my foot on the brake pedal and nothing happen the pedal went to the floor and the van did not slow down untill we went accross the road and into the feild. had to get her towed home and found no brake fluid in her filled her up hit the pedal a couple time it started to stiffen up and than lost all pressure looked back under the hood and no fluid. started to look around and i had a huge puddle under the rear tire. pulled off the tire and drum and the wheel cylinder fell out in pieces:dizzy:. started to call around for part and found out i have to order everything in and can not get the parts untill monday. so now i will be missing two days without pay a tow bill and all the parts i must get. so my winter fishing trip has no funds and this was to be my first trip up to higgins:(. some times i just can't win for losing.
i will take smelt donations if anyone wants to help out :help:

Don't worry, I don't think you missed much. A buddy and I fished Saturday night for about three hours. We only got 5. Looks like I have lake trout bait now.
We came off the lake at midnight in a total whiteout.
The smelt fishing should be better in a few weeks.
The ice where we drilled was about 14-16 inches thick, with about 6 in of snow on top.
